PAVING SCHEDULE CONTINUES

This is a reminder that the City of Carmel is doing some of its street repaving projects at night when it involves a road that we are using as a detour route for the Keystone repaving project. We could not add further congestion and slow down traffic on these detour routes during the daytime and during rush hours, so the decision was made to work at night.

Crews began working in the evening on Friday, August 15, on Gray Road from 106th to Kingswood. The work along Gray will be done between 7 pm and 6 am. This work should be complete, weather permitting by Friday, August 22.

Crews will then begin working on Gray Road at 116th Street to mill and repave from Keystone to Hazel Dell. After 116th is completed, crews will be working on 136th Street between Keystone to Gray Road. All of this work will take place in the evening hours.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience to residents along these routes, and we apologize for the disruption. However, this is the best solution for us to be able to stay on track with our repaving program and still use these streets as detour routes for Keystone.
